Brandice Mueller, LPC

Therapy is not just about treating psychological disorders. It is about growth, understanding, education and most of all, living a healthier life mentally, physically, and emotionally. It is an open door to answering and exploring the many questions we all have and working toward health and sustainable change.

Did you know we have over 6,000 thoughts a day?
Do you understand how these thoughts impact you emotionally and behaviorally?

Is avoidance your primary method of managing problems or challenging situations in your life?

Whether you suspect you are clinically depressed, wanting to change unhelpful behaviors, or just wanting to process things in a safe and understanding environment, all these things and more can be addressed therapeutically. I love exploring these questions and helping others to understand themselves and our world better. My experience ranges from working with juveniles at-risk of permanently being removed from their community to adults with mood, anxiety, and trauma related problems in a private practice setting. I have an open door to all those who are in need of help regardless of gender, race, spiritual preference, or sexuality. I have been clinically active in our LGBTQ community for over a decade and strive to be of service to all in need.

In therapy, we will initially focus on conceptualizing what brings you to therapy. Next we work to build a therapeutic treatment roadmap so you understand what we are doing and why. I strive to provide a safe, non-threatening environment for all who care to share. I utilize a wide variety of interventions, working hard to put as many tools in my tool belt to customize each individual’s treatment experience. My primary treatment modalities include CBT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR.
